Should we officially name our project "Project 5%"?
Project Name
Because of the limited time we have, I think we should have our project name established ASAP. This affects the creation of our FB group, t-shirt/button designs, our information being sent to APIA vote, so with 10 weeks, I think this should definitely be established by week 1.
above is a vote, majority wins in 2 days or when everyone votes.
Here are the arguments:
For: 5% is a shocking statistic and a conversation starter. As such a small minority of the population, it gives even more reason to maximize our voice in the community. We must work to unite our seemingly small community to ensure our voice is heard.
Against: 5% is such a small number that it might be discouraging to some, making it a bad marketing catch. It might also take a long time to relate and explain 5% to our campaign.

Consider this, too
Not to be butting in or anything, but also consider that the past 4 elections (essentially all of the ones that I can remember and maybe even more) have been decided by 10% of a vote or less. The past two elections have been decided by margins of 5% or less. Imagine if 5% of that vote went the other way...we could have had different leadership and be in a completely different place today. :-)
Project 5%...History in the Making, baby.
